Until 2010: Fuel Price Stabilisation Fund (FEPCO)
2011: Fuel Price Protection System (SIPCO): new mechanism designed to mitigate the impact of fluctuations in international prices on domestic fuel prices: fuel tax is temporarily reduced when local petrol or diesel prices rise more than 12.5% above a reference price and, inversely, increases when they drop more than 12.5% below this level
