Introducción
La cooperación alemana, a través de la GIZ, trabaja en diferentes programas que beneficien a la sociedad en su conjunto. Al respecto, cada proyecto y/o programa debe contar con un análisis de género, a través del “Mainstreaming de Género”, como parte de la política interna de la GIZ, que garantice una sociedad más igualitaria y equitativa con hombres y mujeres. Por ende, el Programa de Energías Renovables (PEERR-II), desde su contexto de GG-0, no solo aborda las temáticas de género y energía, sino que se apropia y se compromete con dichas temáticas, prueba de ello, es el origen de la Comunidad de Práctica en Género y Energía en La Paz y Cochabamba.
