Energypedia also offers the possibility to include formulas in an article, however this is a bit more difficult to do.
1. Choose the "wiki text editor"
Error creating thumbnail: convert: unable to open image `/var/www/ISWiki/prod/current/energypedia/images/1/1a/Show_Wiki_Text_Editor.JPG': No such file or directory @ error/blob.c/OpenBlob/2641.
convert: no images defined `/tmp/transform_4ba1ac4-1.jpg' @ error/convert.c/ConvertImageCommand/3044.
2. Click on "Mathematical formula (LaTeX)"
The Wikitext code for an example formula looks like this: <math>
\operatorname{erfc}(x) =
\frac{2}{\sqrt{\pi}} \int_x^{\infty} e^{-t^2}\,dt =
\frac{e^{-x^2}}{x\sqrt{\pi}}\sum_{n=0}^\infty (-1)^n \frac{(2n)!}{n!(2x)^{2n}}
</math>
Which results in a formula like this:
[[File:]]
What you see is:
- The overall formula needs to be enclosed by [[File:]] tags.
- The formular itself is written in (rather complicated to understand for first-time users) LaTeX code
