The Afghanistan Ministry of Commerce and Industries (http://moci.gov.af/) supervises the fuel sector in Afghanistan. However, there is no detailed information available concerning fuel pricing on their website.
The Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) published a case study concerning the fuel market in Afghanistan in October 2005. According to this document, the downstream fuel market is liberal in Afghanistan. The full AACC case study can be found at a-acc.org.
