www.energypedia.infois online!
Since January we were working non-stop to develop an improved version of endev.info, responding on users needs. We successfully finished the testing phase and we are proud to present the new energypedia wiki. Step by step Energypedia will be opened to energy experts all over the world, to use the platform for knowledge exchange on renewable energies in developing countries. Therefore we needed to customize the terms of use.
Note: Due to server relocation some users (usernames with "_") might have problems to login www.energypedia.info. Please inform us immediately by e-mail so that we resolve the problem (robert.heine@gtz.de). And some may be asked to confirm their Email address.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
New Features
The layout was changed for visual clarity, so that content will be easily accessible. The new wiki upload will make it easier than ever before. A group function was established to replace the expertise on each user’s profile. You can assign to a group according to your specification, but you can also leave groups and join others. A group enables you to get in contact with all energy experts in your field of expertise. Provide relevant information on Solar Home Systems in the Solar group or post something about a planed baseline study in the Monitoring Group if you are involved in M&E. Don’t hesitate to ask your colleagues when you have a question, they probably have or had similar problems and can share their experiences. More useful functions are coming soon.
