This position is based in Nouakchott, Mauritania, with a specific focus on existing and pipeline programs in Mauritania and regional projects related to energy trade. The focus will be to further develop the energy engagement in Mauritania across the entire energy sector portfolio including the value chain of an effective power market and the broader electrification agenda, and the related policy dialogue. There are projects and ASAs under preparation in all of these engagements and the selected candidate is expected to play a key role in design and implementation in the IDA 19 and IDA 20 period.
