Every year, nine seminars are held during World Water Week with researchers and practitioners exploring different aspects of the year’s theme, in 2021 Building Resilience Faster. The content of the seminars is developed by SIWI’s Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) together with leading co-convening organizations. Speaker slots are given to individuals who want to present their work in a short and interactive way.
The seminars take as their starting point the Thematic scope developed by the SPC. It is the SPC and the co-convening organizations that select the abstracts that will be presented in the seminars, based on their content and innovation.
The combination of high-quality abstracts and interesting keynote speakers lay the foundation for rich and dynamic discussions where researchers and practitioners from different fields challenge each other to explore new perspectives.
