The Promotion of Renwable Energy and Energy Efficiency Programme (PREEEP) has completed two impact assessment of solar PV activities.
One study, which is based on a household and an SME survey, analyses the impact of SHS on households and small enterprises in Uganda. It analyses the impact of SHS on energy expenditure, health, education, gender, firm profits etc.
The other study analyses the impact of the electrification of rural health centres on service delivery, satisfaction of staff etc.
