Unlike conventional web-platforms, energypedia allows all its users to make their contributions. Providing and revising knowledge (in terms of wiki articles about renewable energies) is not organized in responsibilities or hierarchies. All wiki users are equal, everyone has the right to create content. As a result, all relevant contents concerning renewable energies in the context of development cooperation are available and continuously revised.
It works - Wikipedia has already proved it!

energypedia vs. endev-wiki
The core of energypedia are the "Portals" with articles and group functionalities regarding renewable energies. In addition, energypedia provides a newsblog to spread general information regarding energy and development cooperation (--> energypedia newsblog for general content).
The endev-wiki is an internal project wiki to support the management and the monitoring of the Dutch-German Energy Partnership "Energising Development" (EnDev). To support the communication within EnDev there is a separate newsblog available within the endev-wiki (--> endev newsblog = internal EnDev communication).
If you would like to have your own internal project-wiki for your project or organisation please contact info@energypedia.de.
